GODLEY -- Leola A. Williams, 78, a homemaker, passed away quietly in a hospice care facility Monday evening, Jan. 8, 2007, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel, Burleson. Burial: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: Noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Leola A. Williams was born Nov. 16, 1928, near Gilmer to George and Mary Grace Robertson Griggs. She was a loving mother, sister and friend. She was a kind-hearted generous person who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Above all she was devoted to her beloved Jesus. She is finally with the one to whom she gave her heart and soul so many years ago. Survivors: Sons, Andrew Williams of Fort Worth, Jeff Williams and wife, Matilde, of Godley; brothers, Doug, Don and Garth Griggs; sisters, Sarah Tidwell, Gladys Lyle; grandson, Travis Lee Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
