Linda Jean Bransom

April 17, 1956 — December 17, 2018

Linda Jean Bransom of Arlington, TX left us on December 17th, 2018. Linda was born in Lubbock, TX on April 17th 1956 to Tommie Lee Bransom and Lois Jean Smith Bransom.

Linda would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, sort of an offer she couldn't refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 100 percent. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, playing pool, gardening, fishing and playing with her dogs to her heart's content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. As an added bonus, she doesn't have to cook either. She left detailed instructions for her brother, sister, niece, family and friends to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed.

Linda is survived by her sister, Patricia Ann Bransom Jeane of Joshua. TX; Brother Ronald Lee Bransom of Arlington, TX; Brother-in-law Melvin Dale Jeane of Joshua, TX; Sister-in-law Jexanne Bransom of Arlington, TX; Niece April Webb Gutierrez of Saginaw, TX Niece Deena Jeane and Nephew Chris Jeane and two great nieces Brooke Duffy and Haley Duffy; two nephews William O Hall II and his wife Stephanie and their 3 children, Thomas R. Hall and his wife Camille and their 2 children; and many, many friends and even more cousins.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Linda's life will be in a place that I know she would love. Though we all mourn Linda's passing, Linda would want us to remember her with love and humor (heavy on the humor). She loved shooting pool over many decades, and the place to hold such a memorial fits this perfect. Please, all family and friends, co-workers and various partners-in-crime (you know who you are) meet and celebrate Linda's life at 4:00 pm, Saturday the 12th of January, at the Division Street Ice House (https://www.facebook.com/DivisionStIcehouse), located at 2602 Division St., Arlington, Texas 76012. The owner has been gracious in allowing this get together to happen in his place. Please come if you can. Understandable if you cannot. I know so many of you have many, many tall tales and stories to share with each other. Let us share and celebrate together.
