BURLESON -- Linda Sue Denslow, 56, of Burleson, a retired elementary teacher for 31 years, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at her residence in Burleson. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Burleson Church of Christ. Linda was born Jan. 6, 1951, in Corpus Christi to Arthur L. and Edith Joann Sikes Voigt. She married Joe Denslow on Oct. 6, 1973, in Bishop. Linda loved her family, friends and church dearly. She always tried to be a good Christian example in the way she lived her life. she enjoyed singing with the Lone Star Chorus of Sweet Adelines International for the past 12 years, and loved teaching childeren. Survivors: Husband, Joseph C. Denslow of Burleson; daughters, Angela Denslow of Dallas and Michelle Denslow of Joshua; brothers, Wayne Voigt and wife, Pat, of Corpus Christi and John Voigt and wife, Alice, of Lavernia; sister, Kathy Hope and husband, Mike, of Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughter, Lindsey Marlena Scarbro; and many nieces and nephews.
