Linda Mckinzey Puryear

Linda McKinzey Puryear, 74, of Burleson passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Caddo Cemetery, Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Linda was born April 29, 1938, in Lipan to Sular and Roy Ruth Blair McKinzey. Linda was a very proud and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Texas Longhorns fan and greatly enjoyed the 32 years she spent as secretary of Everman Junior High School. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael McKinzey. Survivors: Husband, Bob Puryear of Burleson; son, Jon Puryear and wife, Rocel; brother, Tommy McKinzey and wife, Cheryl, of Anna; granddaughters, Tanner Puryear, Hope Puryear, Ashten Priest and Alexa Priest; grandson, Chance Priest; nieces and nephews; and many other loving extended family and friends.
