Linton Gerald "Jerry" Warren

CROWLEY -- Linton Gerald "Jerry" Warren, 69, of Crowley, a retired business owner, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Godley Cemetery in Godley. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: May be made to the First Baptist Church of Godley Missions Fund. Jerry was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Rotan to P.R. and Irene Whitfield Warren. He married Betty Hendrix on Sept. 22, 1962, in Sardis. Jerry was a loving husband, father and Pops. He loved bird hunting with his sons, bowling, traveling and just being with his family and friends. Survivors: Wife, Betty Warren of Crowley; sons, Deryl Warren and wife, Angela, of Crowley, Lennie Warren of Burleson, Rodney Warren and wife, Sherry, of Joshua and Ricky Warren and wife, Diedre, of Crowley; daughter, Deborah Eastwood and husband, Freddie, of Arlington; mother, Irene Warren of Weatherford; grandchildren, Dawn, David, Ryan, Preston, Lynze, Jared and Brian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
