BURLESON -- Lloyd B. Edgett, 95, a retired manager for Phillips Petroleum, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at his Burleson residence. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Burleson. Interment:Inglewood Cemetery, Inglewood Calif. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Lloyd was born Oct. 7, 1912, in Logan, Kan., to Fred and Edna Ellis Edgett. Lloyd was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved woodworking and building wooden toys for his grandchildren. He also loved gardening, horses, livestock and dancing. Lloyd was very involved in scouting and 4H with his children. He loved doing things for children and he loved taking the grandchildren boating. Survivors: Sons, Dave Edgett of Beaumont, Calif., Gill Edgett and wife, Mary of Burleson; daughter, Bev Findley of Torrence Calif.; brother, Wayne of Scottsdale, Az. and sister, Wuanita of Wichita, Kan.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
