Lois Evelyn Schlenk

Lois Evelyn Schlenk, 96, of Burleson passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, in Cleburne. Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: D-FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Lois was born Nov. 10, 1917, in Chatsworth, Ill., to Walter Scott and Leota Wilson Fielding. She loved art, painting, sewing, ceramics, traveling, stained glass, reading, writing and crocheting. Lois was very generous and loving toward all. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Schlenk. Survivors: Son, Richard Schlenk and wife, Carol, of Volente; daughters, Marje Obenhaus and Betty O'Neal and husband, Bob, both of Burleson; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
