Lois Steele

Lois Steele, 80, passed away November 29, 2012, in a Fort Worth hospital. Service: 10AM, Monday, December 3, at NorthPointe FBC, Joshua. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Lois was born October 14, 1932, in Shackelford County, Texas to Oliver Edward and Melinda Maude Chandler Stanley. Her family was most important, though she cherished her time spent as president of the Agape Sunday School class. She was very strong in faith, active in several church ministries. She was preceded in death by: her parents; twin sister, Doris Stanley; daughter, Lisa N. Nelson; granddaughter, Shea M. Moody and great granddaughter, Ashton Moody. Survivors: sons, Donald F. Steele, Jr. of Arlington, Steven M. Steele and wife Renay of Cleburne; granddaughters, Monique N. Steele, Felecia N. Steele, Sierra Steele, all of Arlington, Sandy K. Aldridge and husband Dustin of Montgomery, AL, Sommer A. Clark of Mansfield; grandsons, Huntter Byrd, and wife, Tanya, and Hoyt Byrd, both of Cleburne, 11 great grandchildren and many loving friends.
