Lou Catherine Parks, 69, passed away March 2, 2014 in a Fort Worth hospital. Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2014 Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 12:00 noon, Friday at Funeral Home. Lou was born January 18, 1945, in Elwood, Indiana to Pascal Vernon and Mary Catherine Claybaugh Brewer. She retired from Bloomington High School South where she worked 28 years. Her hobbies included wood crafting and yard sales. Lou enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and loved family reunions. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Robert Parks; sisters, Betty Roberts, Christina Weeks, and Willie Neal; and brothers, Bill Brewer, Howard Brewer, and Jr. Brewer. Survivors: sons, Terry Boyer and wife Ginger, and Frank Parks; daughters, Tina Bennett, Debbie Cooper, and Ginger Cooper, and husband Jimmy; grandchildren, Kassandra Cooper, Markus Cooper, Brittany Boyer, Lindsay Hawkins, Ashley Bennett, Brandon Bennett, David Jacobs, Shane Jacobs, Jennifer Parks, Bobbie Joe Parks, Rachel Parks; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Groover, and Barbie Sue Beeman; brothers, George Brewer, and Charles Brewer; and a host of loving friends and extended family.
