Louise Hawpe Evans Jones

JOSHUA -- Louise Hawpe Evans Jones, 86, of Joshua, passed away Monday August 8, 2016. Graveside Service: 10AM Thursday, Union Hill Cemetery, Joshua. Visitation: 6-8PM Wednesday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Louise was born February 9, 1930 in Crowley to John Royce "Roe" and Beulah Beatrice (Shipley) Hawpe. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Charles "Choc" Evans, second husband T.N. Jones, and brothers, John "Son" Hawpe, Alfred "Bud" Hawpe. Louise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifetime Joshua resident, who loved gardening, and was generous in sharing the bounty of her garden. Louise was an excellent cook, who enjoyed cooking for her family, and special occasions. Survivors: son, Steve Evans and wife Kim; daughter, Jan Turner and husband Randy; son, Barry Evans; grandchildren, Tina Evans, Kirsten Collins, Clay Turner, Kelli (Turner) Ebeling, Reilly Evans; great-grandchildren, Shay Price, Jackson & Katelyn Collins, Brody, Mason, & Westin Turner, Lyndi Ebeling; great-great-granddaughter, Rose Marie Sneed; sister, Lucille Adams; brother, Don Hawpe and wife Norma; and Numerous other loving extended family and friends.
