Lucille Pope

FORT WORTH -- Lucille R. Pope, 88, a retired sales clerk for Mitchell's Department Store, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, in Burleson. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Marystown Cemetery, Joshua. Lucille was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Johnson County to Leslie Devine and Fannie Ann Beard Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Pope. Survivors: Son, Patrick Spurlin of Fort Worth; brothers, Garvis Ross and wife, Jackie, of Joshua, Jerald Ross and wife, Dorothy, of Joshua; and numerous nieces and nephews.
