Luke Alton Nichols

November 18, 1958 — October 5, 2023

Luke Alton Nichols was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania on November 18, 1958 to Charles and Carolyn (McGuire) Nichols. He passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, October 5, 2023.
After moving to Texas when Luke was a baby, he grew up on Hightower St with his 4 older siblings. Charlene Nichols-Horton, Cheryl McDonell, Tom and Cindy Nichols, and Lorraine and Eddie Wellborn.
Luke attended East Handley Elementary school and played Little League Baseball. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1977. After graduating Luke began working for his father, Charles, at AutoMotive Machine & Supply. Later he began working at Lockheed Martin for a few years, then moved to Texas Wesleyan University as a supervisor in maintenance and finally retired from Texas Christian University.
Luke loved his family deeply and in 1983, Luke brought his daughter, Stephanie home from the hospital to the house on Hightower. Around 1986, Luke purchased land in Crowley, TX. When Stephanie was five, Luke, with the help of his father, Charles and his brother Tom, built a studio to move into in Crowley. In 1992, Luke brought his son, Seth, home from the hospital. Luke was a strong Christian man and loved helping others. He was a devoted and loving father, an amazing grandpa, a giving brother and kind Uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
In 1997, he purchased the home he has lived in to this day on the land in Crowley. Luke turned the studio into a recording studio for his music. Luke's love of music was inspiring. He played his music with several different artists and bands throughout the years. When he wasn't making music, he was hunting. He loved going to his lease with his friends and family.
Luke was preceded in death by his father, Charles Nichols and his grandparents, Luke and Norma McGuire and Grant and Bessy Nichols.
He is survived by his two children.
Stephanie Stansbury and Joseph Howie and their children Cash and Graycen Stansbury of Spring, TX.
Seth and Danielle Nichols of Weatherford, TX.
His mother, Carolyn Nichols and his 4 older siblings.
Charlene Nichols-Horton, Cheryl McDonell, Tom and Cindy Nichols and Lorraine and Eddie Wellborn.
And many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Luke and his BIGGER than life personality will forever live in our hearts.
