CROWLEY -- Mack West, 80 of Crowley, a retired electronics technician for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for forty years, died Monday Dec. 22, 2008 in North Richland Hills. Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Monday Dec. 29, 2008. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital. Mack Winston West was born Nov. 29, 1928 in Anson, to Raymond Carbon and Ila Helen Thornton West. He married Addie Pearl Norman on June 4, 1954 in Weatherford. Mr. West proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, was a member of the Crowley Masonic Lodge, and member of Edge Park United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved his family dearly. Survivors: Wife of 54 years, Addie Pearl West of Crowley; son, Thomas Lee West and wife, Ruth of North Richland Hills; daughters, Janet Cooper and husband, Kenneth of Burleson, Linda Tipton and husband, Jay of Level Land, Sue Ann Sullivan and husband, Barry of North Richland Hills; brother, Lee West and wife, Bobbie of CA.; five grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
