Margaret Louise Grummons

BURLESON -- Margaret Louise Grummons, 74, a homemaker, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Margaret was born Aug. 30, 1932, in Cortland, N.Y., to Otis and Alice Long Lyon. She married Carl Grummons on July 27, 1968, in Homer, N.Y. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret enjoyed reading books. She had resided in Burleson since 1986. Survivors: Husband, Carl F. Grummons Sr. of Burleson; son, Carl F. Grummons Jr. of Burleson; daughters, Kathy McRae of Egan and Lynn Winn of Plano; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
