Margaret E. Lyons

JOSHUA -- Margaret E. Lyons, 86, of Joshua, a retired department clerk at General Dynamics for 41 years, died Friday, July 11, 2008, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Margaret Elizabeth Lyons was born March 7, 1922, in Floydada to John Newton and Eula Eudora Weatherby Nelson. She married William Arnold Lyons in September 1952 in Oklahoma City, Okla. Mrs. Lyons was a member of First Baptist Church of Joshua for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a brother, Cecil Nelson. Survivors: Daughter, April Breitenstein and husband, Merle, of Joshua; grandchildren, Jason Breitenstein and wife, Jill, of Arlington and Amy Rumfield and husband, Dusty, of Burleson; and great-grandchildren, Reese and Rylie Rumfield and Camille and Addison Breitenstein.
