BURLESON -- Margaret Evelyn Stanford, 78, of Burleson, a homeaker, passed away Tues. August 10, 2010. Funeral: 10:00 AM Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park in Burleson. Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Margaret was born July 19, 1932 in Burleson to Herman and Thelma Horton Strong. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Margaret loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a lifelong resident of Burleson and a member of Bethesda Baptist Church for many years. Special thanks to her caregivers Sarah and Paula. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Stanford in 2007 and her grandson, Kelly Kinsey. Survivors: Son, Bill Stanford and wife Debby of Burleson; daughter, Linda Reed and husband Larry of Burleson; grandchildren, Darwin Kinsey, Bryan Stanford, Mark Kinsey, Justin Stanford, Cari Yates; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
