Margie Leath

Margie Virginia Pool Spradley Leath , 94, of Cleburne, a homemaker, passed away Friday June 18, 2010 in Cleburne. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 7-9 P.M. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Margie was born May 14, 1916 in Sinton, Texas to J.G. Sr. and Edith Clifton Pool. Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a loving person with many friends at the First Baptist Church of Glen Rose and the Senior Citizens facility along with her extended family. She was always known for her cheerfulness, hospitality and loving hugs. Margie married Hiram "Les" Spradley of Fort Worth in 1934. Then following his death she married James William "Bill" Leath of Arlington in 1975. He passed away in 1999. She was also preceded in death by sons, Leslie Garfield Spradley, James Norman "Cotton" Spradley and her step son, Larry Leath; 4 brothers; 2 sisters. Survivors: Brother, J.G. Pool Jr.; children, Martha Spradley Ward of Joshua, Carolyn Spradley Taylor of Glenrose, Eunice Spradley Collins of Hartford, Mich. and her step-daughter Janis Gentsch of Arlington. 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. .
