Maria Sosa Edgett

Maria Del Carmen Sosa Edgett, at the blessed age of 70, left this world to be with the Lord, in Paradise, on November 29th, 2020. She died on what we believe was her favorite day, a Sunday, as it was the day she loved to go to Church and praise God. As much as we are still hurting from her sudden and unexpected death, we gain comfort knowing she is in a better place where she’ll never have to be in pain again.

She lived a life for others. She was not just an amazing wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she was a prayer warrior for all. She believed that there was good in everyone. And that is why as much as we mourn her we celebrate her too. Celebrate the positive impact she made on those in and outside of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers, Lupe, Johnny, and Thomas.

She is survived by her husband Gil, brothers Jessie and Pete, son Tony, daughters: Norma, Hope and Kristen, step-daughters: Traci and Mandy, fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
