MariAnn Jones Deering, 50 of Burleson, a retired kindergarden teacher, died Sunday Dec. 19, 2010 at her home in Burleson. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church of Burleson. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society, Harvest House in Burleson, or Back Pack Ministry at First United Methodist Church of Burleson. MariAnn was born July 7, 1960 in Fort Worth to Louis Walter, Jr. and Juanita Jean Flow Jones. She married Robert Miller Deering on Dec. 3, 1983 in Fort Worth. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Burleson. MariAnn was a loving and caring wife, mother "Aggie Mom", daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She enjoyed her family, cooking, and being at the beach. She was a very faithful christian woman, active as a volunteer in the community and with her church. She is at peace with the Lord and will be missed by all. Survivors: Husband, Robert Deering of Burleson; sons, Robert Jack Deering, Matthew Miller Deering, Shelby Lee Deering, all of Burleson; sister, Judy Olson and husband, Mike of Weatherford; parents, Louis W. and Jeanie Jones of Weatherford; numerous aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.
