Marilyn Winkler

Marilyn Sue Winkler was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on January 14, 1958 to Walter Lewis Winkler and Glady's Myrtle (Kindt) Winkler. She passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, March 28, 2025 as she was transported to her Heavenly home surrounded by her family.

Marilyn attended Burleson High School and graduated in 1977. She was an Optician and loved helping people pick out glasses.

Marilyn loved sitting at Bailey Lake in the sunshine and watching the water. She loved spending time with her grand kids and sitting on the back porch with her dog Sadie listening to the birds, especially the cardinals. You could often find Marilyn at Wafflehouse with her friends having coffee time. She was ALWAYS ready for spontaneous road trips.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Walter Lewis Winkler.

She is survived by her mother, Glady's Mrytle (Kindt) Winkler, sister Wynona Kay Gulley, brother William Larry Winkler.

Daughter Angela Morrison and husband Adam Morrison and their daughter, Danica of Kingwood, Texas

Daughter Valoriann Thrash and husband Jacob McMaster and their children Jarrett and Paisley of Decatur, Texas

Sally Goff and husband Dustin Goff and their children Alanna, Breckin and Teagan of Burleson, Texas

As well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
