BURLESON -- Marion Robert "Bob" Morgan, 74, died Sunday, April 29, 2007. Memorial service: A remembrance party will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wilshire Room in Burleson. Memorials: Honorariums may be given to the American Heart Association, the Ladder Alliance or to the family. Marion Robert "Bob" Morgan was born March 6, 1933, and passed away April 29, 2007. He was affectionately known as "Paha," "Unkabob" and several other terms of endearment. Bob was known far and wide as the best source of e-mail jokes around. You may have seen him around town in his red pepper or bright Hawaiian shirts. He was admired and loved by all who knew him. Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force, and from Sperry Univac as a computer technician. He was working part-time as a computer technician at Fort Worth Country Day School. He volunteered his time and computer skills for the Ladder Alliance of Fort Worth. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; twin infant brothers; and his son, Terry. Survivors: Wife, Chalong of Burleson; sister, Bonnie Solomon of Granbury; daughters, Zoranda and Mike Lashaway of Sherwood, Ohio, Robyn and Drew Rutkowski of Burleson, Rhonda and Carl Eaton of Burleson, and Pat Morgan of Florence, S.C.; sons, Chai Morgan of North Hollywood, Calif., and Preeda Morgan of Columbia, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
