Mark Randolph Hazlewood, 59, of Joshua, passed away March 9, 2013, in Fort Worth. Mark is now at peace, and in Jesus' care. Memorial Service: 6PM Thursday, April 11, 2013, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. No Visitation is scheduled. Mark was born in Fort Worth to James and Doris (Schory) Hazlewood on October 30, 1953. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School, class of 1972. He earned a BA Degree in Mathematics from Indiana University in 1976. He attended Post-Graduate School at Indiana University, and became certified in Computer Sciences in 1981. He continued with Post-Graduate studies at University of Texas at Arlington, receiving his teaching credentials in 1987. Mark was ranked as a Master Chess Player by the United States Chess Federation. He enjoyed other board games, especially Risk, and the Japanese game of Go. Mark loved gardening, and truly loved his three dogs. Survivors include: sister, Beverly (Hazlewood) Worley, and husband Thomas Schenck, Thomas' son Adam Schenck, and wife, Mandy Schneider; niece, Tamara Ernest and husband Barry and their children, Blake and Payton; uncle, Erich Knippa, and Erich's children, John, David, Kathy, and Steve Knippa; aunt Pat Schory, and her children, Matt Schory, and Sherry Parker.
