Mark Alan Rice

January 10, 1981 — February 9, 2016

Mark Rice, 35, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, in Fort Worth. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Thursday at Open Door Church of Burleson. Viewing only: 10 a.m. to noon prior to the service at Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Mark was born Jan. 10, 1981, in Kenner, La. Mark was an incredible husband, father and son. He worked as a technical service analyst for TCU for 10 years. Mark was very proud of his decision to be an organ donor, allowing so many others his gift of a better life. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charlie Johnson. Survivors: Wife of 12 years, Rachel Rice; daughters, Aurora and Emberly; parents, Dr. McKay "Chip" and Rhonda Rice; mother, Karen Rice; grandmother, Nanny Johnson; and other loving extended family and friends.
