Martha Irene Hardin

Martha Irene Hardin, 86, went to her Heavenly Home on September 20, 2014 in Fort Worth. Service: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Bethesda Baptist Church in Burleson. Interment: Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Tuesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Martha was born May 8, 1928, in Lillian to Rufus and Mary Vickers. She was a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church and part of the Esther Sunday School Class. Martha loved crocheting, gardening, and making cookies. She owned Hardin Country Ceramics for years. Martha was known as nanny by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pop" Floyd Hardin. Survivors: Ann Bray and husband Jerry of Burleson, Bob Hardin and wife Leisa of Burleson; grandchildren, Robert Bray and wife Keri, Amy Johnson and husband Michael, Krecia Ball and husband Travis, Bud Hardin and wife Mandi; great grandchildren, Chaya, Mayce, Olivia, Eli, Zane, and Brett; sisters, Zeta Heath of Childress and Betty Mitchell of Alvarado, extended family and friends.
