Marvin N. Bransom, 79 of Burleson, a retired grocer, died Thursday July 16, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11:00 A.M. Monday at First Baptist Church Of Burleson. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Marvin Neal Bransom was born May 30, 1930 in Fort Worth to Loy and Minnie Cornelia Davis Bransom. He moved to Burleson in 1960 and worked in the family grocery business until retiring in 2002. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson, liked woodworking, raising cattle, horses, and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Loy Wade Bransom, James Richard Bransom; and nephew, Keith Bransom. Survivors, brother, Eddie Bransom and wife, Roxy Ann of San Antonio; sister in laws, Cindy Flowers Bransom of Burleson; Margie Bransom Palmer of Fort Worth; nephew, Stephen Eddie Bransom; nieces, Sharen Simmons, Lori Davis, Karen Frenzel, Camille Bransom; eight great nieces and nephews; one great great niece.
