Mary E. Allen

Mary E. Allen, 87, of Cleburne passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009. Service: At a later date in Hyrum, Utah, where she will be laid to rest between her two daughters. She was born Feb. 6, 1922, in New York City, N.Y., to Jesse R. Hawkins and Emma Chatfield. She retired as a bookkeeper for Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. She loved fishing, bingo, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. Mom, we love you so much and will miss you dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jessie Allen; daughters, Susan Kimball and Elizabeth "Tish" Allen; and two grandchildren. Survivors: Son, Robert A. Allen and wife, Peggy, of Hyrum, Utah; daughters, Ellie L. Allen and Kimmie of Henderson, Nev., Laurie D. Watson and husband, Gary, of Burleson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
