Mary Jane (Kimbrow) Bennett

Memorial service for Mary Jane Kimbrow, Tidwell, Bennett, 88 of Burleson TX will be conducted at 10:30 A,M. Friday July 22nd, 2022, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home (3407 SW Wilshire Blvd., Joshua, TX) with graveside services at Burleson Memorial Cemetery (490 Memorial Plaza, Burleson, TX) afterward.

Mary Jane passed away July 11th, 2022 in Joshua TX. She was born on March 18th, 1934 to Commie Allison and Leona Pearl Oldham Kimbrow in Cleburne, TX. She had four brothers, Bruce, Loren (LT), Bud and Dick all preceding her in death. She married Roy Lee Tidwell on June 27th 1951. Roy Lee passed away on October 9th, 1999. She then married Gene Bennett from Burleson TX, Mr. Bennett also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her four children Len Tidwell of Joshua TX, Carol Padgett Larson of Joshua TX, Marla Holland of Granbury, TX, and Todd Tidwell of Cleburne TX; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She is a member of Burleson Church of Christ and has loved and served God all of her life. She loved and enjoyed her family, enjoyed crocheting, playing her mountain dulcimer, gardening, and all sorts of outdoor activities. She especially enjoyed sitting in her Enchanted Garden under the huge oak tree behind her home. Most of all she loved to visit and talk with friends, family or just people met along her way in life. She lived her life as a loving, faithful and strong women. Her life included many, many wonderful experiences, but also some very challenging experiences and she met every challenge with faith, strength and love.
