Mary Ellen Bryant, 80, of Joshua, went to be with the Lord on October 4th, 2022. She completed her earthly journey and has gone to her heavenly home. Her family is at peace knowing that she is no longer suffering.
Visitation will be 12:30pm, Friday, October 7th, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas. Funeral service will follow at 1:30p.m. Donnie Robinson & Will Adcock will be officiating. A grave side service will follow at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua.
Mary Bryant was born in Egan, Texas on September 26th, 1942, to Thomas Lee Bryant & Charlotte Powell-Bryant. She attended school at Cleburne High School, after high school she worked as a seamstress for Walls industry & Lorch Company and then Wynn’s Climate. She also served as a faithful custodian for Joshua ISD. She received many awards from her employers’ but the award she cherished the most was that of mother and grandmother. If you were a member of her family, adopted, married, or born into it she loved you fiercely. Mary was always there to support and give you her love.
Mary Bryant is preceded in death by her Mother, Charlotte Powell-Bryant, Father, Thomas Lee Bryant, Sister, June Davis, Sister, Bobbie Davis, Sister, Jane Bryant, Brother-in-law Frank Davis. Son-in-law, Steve Steele.
Mary Bryant is survived by her son, Kenneth Robinson and wife Jaye; daughter Renay Steele; daughter Rhonda and husband Kenneth Adcock; son Frankie Pruitt. Grandchildren, Nathan Robinson, Desiree (Niki) Seeton and husband CJ, Taylor Green and wife Stephanie, Logan Robinson, Jayce Robinson, Huntter and wife Tanya Bryd, Hoyt Bryd and Erika, Akira and husband Josh Chappell, Kenneth (Will) and wife Amanda Adcock, Charlotte (LaNay) Adcock and fiancé Colten Cargill, Austin and wife Rachel Pruitt, Dalton Pruitt. Great-Grandchildren Trinity, Ava, Grant, Ila, Shepherd, Tatum, Teague Boone, Skye, Mckenzie, Shelby, Kelsey, Creager, Cope, Ropper. She is also survived by many friends and family that will miss her greatly.
Pallbearers will be: Nathan Robinson, Huntter Bryd, Hoyt Byrd, Taylor Greene, Logan Robinson, and Jayce Robinson
The family would like to acknowledge the staff from Towne Hall Estates of Keene. They have truly gone above and beyond to care for Mary in these final years. They showed tremendous love and compassion for her in what was the final season of her life. The family would also like to thank the staff of Elara Hospice Care for easing the transition as Mary made her way to her final home.
