Mary Aleace Fannin

November 20, 1919 — September 10, 2007

CLEBURNE -- Mary Aleace Fannin, beloved wife, mother, and "memaw" went to be with the Lord on Monday Sept. 10, 2007 at a Cleburne care center. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Thursday Sept. 13, 2007 in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Burleson. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury. Visiation: 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mary was born Nov. 20, 1919 in Granbury, the daughter of Jim and Nannie Ince McDonough. On September 9, 1939 she was united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Irben H. Fannin. Their union was blessed with four wonderful children and a large extended family. She was a long standing member of First Baptist Church of Joshua. Blessed be her memory! She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Irben Fannin and a daughter, Connie Kay Wadlington. Survivors: Sons, Murphy Fannin and wife, Donna of Tolar, Dale Fannin of Tolar; daughter, Carolyn Fannin of Cleburne; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
