Mary Dale Koen

Mary Dale Koen was born in Ft. Worth December 18, 1951 to Jack and Helen Emmert.  She passed away December 20, 2020.

Dale, as she was known to many family and friends, grew up in Ft. Worth and attended Poly High School, where she met her high school sweetheart and husband, Richard Lee Koen.  They were married on September 30, 1968. The couple started their life together in Ft. Worth but soon moved to Burleson, where they built their lives and raised their family.

Dale was a member of Marystown Baptist Church in Joshua, TX, where she was involved in leading Sunday School and helping as needed for many years.

Dale was the Mother to daughters Richelle Braun, born in 1969 and Lori Dell, born in 1974.  She also enjoyed watching her granddaughters, Keely Dell and Hannah Dell, grow up and was actively involved in their lives and activities.

Dale was preceded in death by her father Jack Emmert, her sister Jill Emmert, her mother and father in laws Elmer and Hazel Koen, and her niece Angela Koen.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard Koen of Granbury, her daughter Richelle Braun and husband Craig Braun of New Braunfels, TX, her daughter Lori Dell and husband Mike Dell of Burleson, TX and their children (her granddaughters) Keely Dell and Hannah Dell, her mother Helen Emmert, her sister Karen Miller and husband Ed, her brother Mark Emmert and wife Diana, her sister Joan Emmert Cochell; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous family members and friends.
