Mary Ella Lee

Mary Ella Bosher Lee was born on Jan 13, 1933 in Itasca Texas to Willie Richard and Virgie Ola Moore Bosher. She was 1 of 11 sisters and brothers who all lovingly called her "Mickey".
She graduated from Itasca High School, her favorite class was home economics. She quilted and crocheted many beautiful pieces. She and her husband Finis were married in 1950. He proceeded her in death in 1987.

She and Finis built their home in Joshua in the early 50's. They had 2 sons David and Gary. She retired from Southwestern Bell & AT&T after 25 years of being a directory assistance operator.
In 1968 Finis began upholstering furniture in a small dairy barn south of Joshua which soon became Lee's Saddle Shop. In the early 70's with Mary's financial support they began to sell boots & jeans and changed the name to Lee's Western Store. In 1979 they had the grand opening in the present location. After Finis' passing and her retirement, she was an active owner in the business.
Her smile lit up any room. If you knew her, she called you "honey" if you told her you loved her, she always said "I love you more". She loved her family, watching the Texas Rangers and danced at the Stagecoach Ballroom well into her 80's with countless friends.
She is survived by her sons David Lee and Gary Lee, wife, Janice;
Grandchildren: Carrie and Beau Chron, Eric Lee, Kevin & Tiffany Lee, Cody & Vicki Lee, Jason Grubbs & Jared & Amory Grubbs.
Great grandchildren: Aiden, Paxton, Mason, Makenna, Keaton, Lakin, Brody, Isabelle, Jaden, Jules, Penelope, Hadley and Charlotte in heaven
Numerous nieces, nephews & friends.

After 91 wonderful years, Mary went peacefully to heaven on November 11, 2024.
