Mary Lou (Richardson) Reeves

July 16, 1927 — January 14, 2023

Mary Lou Reeves was born in Burleson, Texas at home on July 16, 1927 to Benjamin Dewey Richardson and Jennie Lou Morris (Richardson).  Mom  passed Away peacefully early Friday morning on January 14, 2023.
Mary Lou grew up in Burleson with her parents and 8 siblings, Clara, Son, Pete, Joe, Bill, Chunky, Jimmy Joe and Patricia.
Mary Lou Graduated from Burleson High School in 1944.   She then went to work for Rexall Drugs.
Mom was married to LeeRoy Reeves  (Daddy)   the  love of her life.    Dad  lived down the street from Mom and they became neighborhood sweethearts.   LeeRoy served in the military in 1945 where he served as a medic.    He wrote home to Mom that he could get out of the service if they were married  and on his next leave much to his  surprise ,  Mom had the wedding all planned and they were married on July 21, 1946. Mom and Dad were married for 75 years.
Dad started his career at General Dynamics and mom was a full time mom to us 3 kids.
Mom loved us kids  and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  Mom also  loved her 3 dogs
Ella, Gaby and Lucy.
Mom was survived by her kids, Mike , Alan  and Roxanne and her grandkids,  Jason Reeves, Jamie Reeves, Joshua Reeves, Aaron Reeves,  Lisa Birch and Sheila Bentley,  She was also survived by her great grandkids  Austin Reeves,  Toby and Tanner Birch, Ashley, Ethan  and Jett Bentley ,  Hadley, Paisley, Ruger and Kailyn Reeves.   She was also survived by two precious great great grandbabies.  Alexander Reeves,  Atas Blue Bentley and  Ava, Chloe and Sofia Florez.
Mom has one more great great  grandchild coming in May of 2023 she was so excited about the new Grandbaby, River Mason Reeves.
Mom was a wonderful mom, and Granny and she will forever live in our hearts.
