Mary Lou (Bentley) Richardson

Mary Lou Bentley Richardson, 82, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Saturday in Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mary was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Joshua to Virgil Cecil and Ona Lou House Bentley. She was a farmer's daughter and ballroom dancer. Mary loved her career at the city of Fort Worth as the city secretary. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mack Richardson; and four brothers. Survivors: Daughters, Mary Lynn Shabbott and husband, Ron, and Michelle Richardson and husband, Chuck Rose; granddaughters, Rachel, Alison and Jordan Shabbott; grandson, Timothy James Shabbott; great-grandchildren, Abigail and James Shabbott; brother, Otis K. Bentley and wife, Marie; dear friend, James Wiltcher; and extended family and friends.
