Matthew Eric Morris, 53, of Joshua, TX, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019.
Matt was born March 1, 1965 in Fort Worth, TX to Jim and Betty Morris.
He grew up in the Rendon/Mansfield area and was very active in the local Little League where he shined as the Pitcher. He graduated in 1983 from Mansfield High School where he competed in Cross Country Track.
Matt was well known as a Parts Man. He loved finding the auto parts that no one else could locate! He was dedicated to his accounts and always went the extra mile for them. He also rebuilt yard equipment but hated weed eaters!
He was a kind man who loved his family and chocolate. Always busy, trying to get that one more thing finished so that the family would be better off.
He is survived by his wife Pat Morris; daughter Jessica Morris; son Michael Morris; step-sons Aaron and Nick Jostmeyer; and his 9 grandchildren that always made him smile, Katie, Conor, Cainan, Weston, Bryan, Emily, Riley, Nova and Grayson.
Parents, Jim and Betty Morris; Sister, Lee Hendrix and husband Clay; Brother, Jimmy Morris; plus several nieces, nephews, and cousins that will all miss him greatly.
