FORT WORTH -- Mattie Lois Cooper, 79, a retired assembly worker for the Lighthouse for the Blind, died Monday, April 10, 2006 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 3:00 P.M. April 13, 2006 Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Pleasant Point Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home/Burleson. Mattie was born April 4, 1927 in Fort Worth to Robert Lee and Carrie Bell Johnson Weeks. She loved music and was a church pianist for over 30 years. Survivors: Daughter, Janice Morris of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Laura Tincher and husband Tony of Fort Worth, Denise Dupree and husband Michael of Fort Worth; 6 great-grandchildren and Marshall Cooper of Fort Worth.
