Maud Edith Bicknell Jones, 93, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Ft. Worth, TX. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 1pm, visitation at 12 noon, at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, TX. Burial will be at Green Acres Cemetery in Cleburne, TX. Edith was born on January 22, 1925 in Johnson County, TX to Austin and Maud Jones Bicknell. She and her late husband, Robert (Shorty) Jones owned dairies in Joshua and Dublin, TX for many years. She was also a seamstress. Survivors: daughter, Rita Jones Alls; sons, David Jones and Douglas Jones (Renee); brother, HA Bicknell; and sister, Billie Bicknell Smith; 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by 6 sisters.
