Maxine Winnett, 80, title clerk, passed away January 10, 2013, in a Fort Worth hospital. Service: 10:00 AM, Monday, January 14, 2013, Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Tye Memorial Cemetery, Burleson. Visitation: 4-6 PM, Sunday at the Funeral Home. Maxine was born December 4, 1932, in Granbury, Texas to Buster and Tina Eaton Tidwell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Maxine loved her flowers, gardening, cooking, and fishing. She enjoyed the slot machines. Maxine loved her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Jimmy Thurman Winnett; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 2 daughter in laws and 1 grandson. Survivors: Carrol Winnett of Clifton; Harold Winnett of Clifton, Darrell Winnett and wife, Mary of Fort Worth; Sherrell Winnett; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
