Maylene May Jeffress, 63, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Alvarado, Texas. The viewing will be Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Joshua, Texas. The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Keene, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Rock Church Cemetery, 6101 Rock Church Hwy., Tolar, Texas 76476.
Maylene was born December 22, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas to Cecil & Darlene May. She was married to Douglas "Doug" Jeffress on June 23, 1985. Maylene brought much life to anywhere she was. Maylene spent 37 years as the heart and soul of General Insurance in Keene, Texas. There, she not only provided assistance to people with their insurance needs, but was also a good listener and advisor to those that stopped by.
Survivor's: Father, Cecil May, Husband, Douglas Jeffress, Sister, Teresa Sonne, Nephews, Martin Sonne and wife Tiffany, Travis Sonne and wife Crysta and their children, Sadie, Daisy & Nash. Borrowed Nieces and Nephews, Tanner Singleton, Jeremy Smallwood & Stephanie Thresher and their families.
