BURLESON -- Melissa Kay LeSueur, 35, left this world to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2007, in Dallas. Celebration of life: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home in Burleson. Burial: Private. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Dallas SPCA in honor of Melissa LeSueur. Melissa was born Aug. 25, 1971, in San Antonio to Ben and Jean LeSueur. She lived in Fort Worth for the first five years of her life. The family then moved to Joshua, and she spent most of her school years there. She graduated from Southwest High School in 1990 and went on to receive her associate degree from Tarrant County College. She made her career in commercial property management and was a passionate volunteer for the SPCA in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her father, Ben LeSueur in 1993. Survivors: Mother, Jean Powell and husband, Don; brothers, Alan LeSueur and wife, Deborah, and their daughter, Averie, Mark Powell and D'Ann Dugan, Matt and Kelli Powell and Mitch Powell; sister, Dona Beavers and husband, Doug; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; friends; and her beloved pets, especially her dog, Lucky.
