Melody Kay Lippincott

Melody Kay Lippincott, 68, passed away August 6, 2013, in a Dallas hospital. Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. No visitation scheduled. Melody was born July 14, 1945, in Madison, Wisconsin to Walter and Melody Kuehl Dean. She loved to play golf, bowl, vacation, and play the slots. Melody greatly loved her grandchildren and spending time with them, family and friends. She was a longtime resident of Austin before moving to Burleson. Survivors: husband, Jeri Lippincott of Burleson; children, Tammy Tucker-Owens and Mark of Whitney, Amy Hughes and husband Bill of Cleburne, Dana Padula and husband Ron of Georgetown, Michael Grissom of Austin, Tony Henderson and wife Corrie of Austin; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 brothers William Dean of Madison, Wisconsin, and David Dean of Waunakee, Wisconsin and extended family and friends. Her family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to American Cancer Society or American Leukemia Society.
