Michael Moss

Michael Edward Moss, best known to family as Mike and to friends as “Moss” or “Big Mike”, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the age of 57.

Mike was born in Fort Worth Texas to Jane Moss & Edward Earl Moss.  Mike grew up in Forest Hill and Burleson Texas.  Mike was in the Class of 1983 at Burleson High School.

Mike wore many hats throughout his life.  He was a son, uncle, coach, mentor and friend.

Mike was in the Loyal Order of the Moose for many years and had only recently rejoined. He enjoyed his time and all the memories he shared with his father in the Moose Lodge.

Mike was a highly trained logistics specialist and held this position in several companies.  His department always excelled and won top honors under his leadership.

Mike was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorn fan. He could hold center court on many subjects.  Mike loved talking and storytelling. Mike will be missed by anyone who knew him.  He was a friend for life if he called you friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Earl Moss, grandparents, Pat & Mabel Moss, Jimmy & Carolyn Grace, brothers-in-law, Doyle Self, Neil Feather and nephew, Richard Scott Moss Jr.

Survived by his mother, Jane Moss, sisters, Alisha Self, Terri Bedell, Sherri Feather and brother Rick Moss.  Nephews, Joshua Self & wife Kayla, Brandon Moss, Jacob Feather, niece, Tiffany Teachout and grandnieces and nephew.
