Mignon Hayes Tedder, 91 of Burleson, a retired beautician for the Modernistic Beauty Shop in McGehee, AR., went to be with the Lord, Friday Oct. 21, 2011 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Burleson, TX. Interment: 10 a.m. Tuesday in McGehee Cemetery, McGehee, AR. Visitation: 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mrs. Tedder was born Aug. 18, 1920 in Winchester, AR. to Herman Pinkney and Lena Bernett Curry Hayes. She married Christopher Columbus "Bud" Tedder on April 17, 1949 in Pine Bluff, AR. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson, TX. She was very active in WMU, girls auxillary, and various mission organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Bennie, Ed, Jack, and Ray Sr., Hayes, and a sister, Helen Covey. Survivors: Daughters, Tamara Cuthbertson of Burleson, Christie Perkins and husband, Glen of Monticello, AR.; stepdaughter, Maxine Rockwood of North Little Rock, AR.; grandchildren, Jennifer Tatum and husband, Wes of Burleson, John Morrison, Amy Morrison, both of Burleson, Will Cuthbertson and wife, Becky of Bedford, Davis Cuthbertson of Burleson; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
