Mildred Hazel Burk, 91, passed away November 7, 2014, in Houston. Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Tye Cemetery in Burleson. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Friday at the Funeral Home. Mildred was born June 23, 1923, in Bexar County to Frank and Erna (Grelle) Hooker. She loved sewing, cooking and watching birds. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, H. N. Burk; son, Herschel Neill; sister, Dorothy Jones; son-in-law, John Norlin. Survivors: daughters, Patricia Dobbin and husband John, Marge Norlin; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
