BURLESON -- Milton Leroy Stanley, 86, a retired painter for General Dynamics, died Thursday, July 31, 2008. Service: 10 a.m. Monday, Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Lee was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Aubrey to George Leonard Sr. and Ada Frances Copeland Stanley. Lee was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Lee loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, going to Las Vegas, Nev., golf, horse racing and traveling. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 54 years, Beth Stanley; one brother; and one sister. Survivors: Daughters, Marsha Woods and husband, Mel, of Burleson, Donna Stanley of Crowley; son, Thomas Stanley and wife Rhnea of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Kretow of Alvarado; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
