Mitchell Derrell Stevens

Mitchell Derrell Stevens, 67 of Cleburne a retired truck driver, died Saturday Dec. 12, 2009 in Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 9:30 a.m., Friday at D-FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Mr. Stevens was born July 31, 1942 in Cooper to Eligia Delbert and Della Irene Simpson Stevens. He married Judith Marie Parlett on April 24, 1965 in Reno, Nevada. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and country music. Survivors: Wife, Judy Stevens of Cleburne; sons, Michael Stevens of Cleburne, James Stevens of Alvarado, Kelly Stevens of Arkansas; daughter, Tamberly Daniels and husband Gerald of Godley; brother, Virgil Stevens and wife Linda of Alvord; sister, Edith Jones and husband Richard of Pecan Plantation; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
