JOSHUA -- Modeana Allen, 76, of Joshua, a homemaker and vice president of Alenco Communications in Joshua, died Wednesday May 21, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. Visitation: 6-8 Monday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Marietta Modeana Allen was born Feb. 13, 1932 in Fort Worth to Marian H. and Louise Wheat Miller. She married Robby Allen on Feb. 26, 1955 in Rendon. Mrs. Allen was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and artist. She was a member of Reece Prairie Baptist Church in Burleson. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons, Christopher and Joseph Allen. Survivors: Husband, Robby Allen of Joshua; sons, Ricky Allen and Maghen of Fort Worth, Steve Allen and wife, Rebecca of Crowley, David Allen and wife Angeles of Burleson; brothers, Donald Miller and wife, Carol of Pittsburgh, Texas, Raymond Guy Miller and wife Sharon, of East Texas; sister, Juanita Watts of Garland; daughter in law, Debora Allen of Joshua; grandchildren, Nathan, Ann, Whitney, Isabella, Reagan, Cristel, April Modeana, Amanda, and Kevin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other famly members.
