MANSFIELD -- Nellie Mae McCulley, 80, of Mansfield, a homemaker, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, in Mansfield. Funeral: 8:30 a.m. Friday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley. Nellie was born Oct. 25, 1931, in Konawa, Okla. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known as the hugging lady at church. Her love for the Lord was felt by all. Her grandchildren were her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Tommie McCulley; sister, Augustine Richardson; and brother, John Jones. Survivors: Sons, Tommy McCulley III and wife, Allison, of Fort Worth, John McCulley and wife, Rene, of Kansas; daughters, Shirley Moler of Burleson, Katherene McCulley and husband, Lee, of Mansfield and Mac Romo and fiance, Willie Mayo, of Woodville; grandchilden, Megan Kidder, Bobbie Jean Moler, Kristen LeBlanc, Timothy Moler, Tiffany Romo, Micah McCulley and Grace Pinac; extended family; and friends.
