Orville E. Swindell, 91, of Burleson, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Funeral Services: 11AM Monday, May 1, 2017 at Burleson Church of Christ. Visitation: 2-4PM, Sunday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Burleson Church of Christ Library Fund. Mailing address is as follows, 1150 NW John Jones Dr, Burleson, TX 76028. Orville was born November 21, 1925 in Slaton, TX to Joseph and Mary Ella (Tapp) Swindell. He is a WWII U.S.M.C Veteran, having served in the South Pacific and China. Orville loved training horses and carpentry work. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Opal Atherton. Survivors: wife, Ella (Harwell) Swindell; daughters, Sherry Dunson and husband, Tom, Melissa Willis and husband, Ian; grandchildren, Amy Jackson and husband, Bill, Joseph Dunson and wife Terri, and Tiffany Beltran; great-grandchildren, Sarah Tamburrino, Jeff Jackson, Michaela Jenkins, Eric Beltran, Chelsea Dunson, and William Dunson; great-great-grandson, Ezio Jenkins; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
