Otis Hicks, of Burleson, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2019 at the age of 82.
He was a loving husband, father, pawpaw and friend. Otis was born in Sikeston, Mo. on August 15, 1937 to Floyd and Lela Hicks. He met Ruth Sharp while working at Pangburns Candy Company in Fort Worth. They were married on March 25, 1961 and celebrated 54 wonderful years together.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, his mother and father and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughters; Judi Hamm and husband Ralph of Brownwood, Texas; Jana Watkins of Burleson, Texas and son; Jamie Hicks and wife Lorrie of Spring, Texas. Five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one brother; one sister; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
