Paul Dean Gilbert

Paul Dean Gilbert, 81, passed away November 3, 2013 in Fort Worth. Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Paul was born September 12, 1932, in Sulpher Springs to Johnny and Ruby McGill Gilbert. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict in Panama. Paul loved and spent a lot of time traveling and planning trips. He enjoyed working in the garden and yard. Paul has been a member of The Burleson Church of Christ since 1963. Survivors: wife of 62 years, Peggy Gilbert of Burleson; daughter, Paula Gilbert Wamble of Burleson; son, Terry Gilbert and wife Kim of Burleson; sisters, Marie Sparks, Joanne Stretcher, Gay Pryor, Joyce Glover; grandchildren, Laura Wamble, John Wamble, Jessica Richardson, Allison Gilbert, Sarah Gilbert; 1 great grandchild, Colin Richardson and extended family and friends.
